Prior to founding Pembroke Capital Advisors in March 2005, Charles established a Corporate and Emerging Market credit advisory venture using Cantor Fitzgerald’s platform. He reviews institutional fixed income portfolios, implementing and executing recommendations in cash and derivatives according to their risk profiles.
Charles has over 25 years experience in global equity, fixed income and derivative markets. Following a training programme at Merrill Lynch, New York, he moved to their Bahrain office in an advisory role to GCC high net worth individuals. He relocated to London to manage a significant portfolio of European and US equities for a family office in 1986.
During 12 years at Banque Paribas he held roles of Head of Middle East Institutional Fixed Income Sales; Emerging Markets sales and trading, concentrating on Eastern European, MENA and other “exotic” countries including Sub-Saharan Africa; Head of Credit sales, overseeing the marketing and distribution to both the generalist and specialist sales teams in London.
In 2000, Charles was a Managing Director at Bank of America responsible for Emerging Market sales to UK and European institutional clients. He managed the distribution of credit, fixed income, structured and currency products to their Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa clients.
Charles holds a BSc in Engineering from California State University at Fullerton. He undertook graduate management courses at UC Irvine while employed by Fluor Engineering Corporation.

Prior to joining Pembroke Capital Advisors, Patsy was responsible for establishing and managing Libertas Partners UK Ltd, specialists in global high yield and distressed bonds and loans. As the Head of European Sales and the European Bond Trader, she developed the relationships with regional institutional clients and built a profitable business.
Patsy has over 25 years in the financial markets and has resided in London Hong Kong and Sydney. Her experience covered government bond and corporate credit sales and trading, structured product distribution, investment advisory, new issue placement, Asian & Australasian central bank sales. As an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute she advised on school fees provision, life assurance, retirement annuities and inheritance tax planning. She has worked for ABN Amro Bank, Societe Generale, National Provident Institution and Scottish Widows Fund.
Patsy is a graduate of the Masters of Applied Finance Centre of Macquarie University, Sydney (MAppFin).
Consultant PE & Real Estate
Michael is responsible for the global marketing and fund advisory business of Pembroke, overseeing Alternative Fund placements, property development and venture capital activities. Michael also leads the non-profit sector.
He joins from Och Ziff where he headed the Middle East client coverage and was formerly at Credit Suisse in the private fund group, where he successfully marketed third party alternative investment funds throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
During 16 years of activity in the international financial markets, he developed expertise across the Fixed Income Capital Markets, Investment Banking and Asset Management sectors. Additionally, Michael has 10 years industry experience in real estate development and construction with the Koll Company in Newport Beach CA.
Michael graduated from the University of California in 1985 with an Engineering BSc. In 1994, he attained an MBA from Thunderbird, The Graduate School of Global Management, specialising in foreign policy and corporate finance.

Rania is the General Office Manager for Pembroke Capital but is also responsible for the Operations. She joined Pembroke Capital following a diverse employment history. Some of her previous roles include working as an Executive Assistant for the CEO of JWT International and as a Case Worker in a political office, specialising in financial, housing, education and immigration issues.
Her academic achievements include a BSc in International and European Studies and an MSc in International Security & Global Governance from Birkbeck College, London.
